My husband and I have been married for eighteen years. I brought to the union three children and he brought two. I worked in Theraputic fostercare in the State of Maine and found that four of my wards were children I didn't want to give back to the State. So my husband, Marc and I adopted them. That brought our children's numbers to nine. The first five have given us a dozen grandchildren and some fine sons and daughters in law. We eventually built our retirement home in the midcoast town of Owl's Head where we adopted three more dogs to add to our one cocker spaniel, Gus. We added two golden retrievers and a tiny maltese. Our home has been full of life, laughter, arguments, temper tantrums ,and alot of love. A wonderful place to write books.
